Church Life

Sunday Morning Bible Class: Sunday morning Bible Class is an opportunity for fellowship (with coffee and treats, of course!) and a further study on God’s Word. This time gives you an opportunity to ask the questions you have always had on your mind or to just sit back and listen to a more in-depth study of what we believe. Since Bible study can be intimidating sometimes the Pastor promises he will not put you on the spot or ask you to read unless you raise your hand!

Sunday School: Sunday school is from September until May. Children 3 years old and older are invited to continue to learn what Jesus has done for them.

Women’s Bible Study: Meets monthly on a Saturday chosen month by month.

Food Bank: Christ Ev. Lutheran Church holds a community food bank the 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you or someone you know is in need of food please contact Jenny Ludeman at 608.676.4994 and she would be glad to help you out.

Confirmation: Confirmation is a class of instruction of the Christian Faith as taught in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. Generally, children 9 years and older will begin to memorize the Small Catechism at home and learn what it means to be a Christian with the instruction of the Pastor.

Adult Instruction: If you wish to become a member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, the Pastor is more than willing to sit down with you and teach you the Christian faith as taught in the Small Catechism.

VBS: Vacation Bible School is held in the summer and is free for any children in the area.
